Echoes ... echo ... echo ...echo

This Sunday we're delighted to be welcoming an old friend, Mike Nicholson, as our guest speaker. He's going to be looking at the next subject in the Echoes of a Voice series: Made for each other - Relationships.

And in the evening there'll be more Rumours of Glory as you're invited to meet at 7 at Linden for an hour or so of prayer, worship and prophecy.

And next week, Rich Pyke is going to be talking about Echoes of a Voice: For the Beauty of the Earth.

It's been a quietish week in the Linden office with nothing much happening. That will all change as soon as certain people realise that the next issue of the magazine, In Touch, should have been published this Sunday, and they ask the Administrator why it wasn't.

A catalogue is also due to be published listing the lots to be auctioned in the charity auction on Saturday, 25th November. There are all sorts of things available and we're accepting sealed bids prior to the day, so if you can't be with us there's no excuse or reason for not bidding. So whether you fancy a sauna and drinks with Aly or a cake a month from Sue, keep your eyes on this blog, where the catalogue will be published simultaneously.

On the same day as the auction, Wales play the All Blacks. Kick-off is at 5.00 pm and you're invited to join others at Red Cafe to watch the game, and enjoy nibbles and a lively discussion, before hurrying up to Linden for the auction and Thanksgiving supper.

Never say life at Linden is boring!

The next bright idea somebody came up with is to produce a Linden recipe book just in time for Christmas (more work for the Administrator!) so if you know someone who makes a delicious cake/pudding/curry/soup/bread - you get the picture - put their name forward. Or if you make something that everyone says is delicious, send the recipe in today to Linden. All profits will be going to the Mutende fund.
